    Hey,

    I’m launching my business on instagram today. I’m basically starting from zero and I’m not the biggest fan of social media, so I wanted to know how were you able to gain followers and grow your account?

    Well it may sound easy but it’s not as pleasant as you may think.
    You just need to post regularly and engage with the big accounts in your niche before every time that you post something.
    I have been following this strategy for the past two months or so, and I have managed to grow my business account from zero to almost 5000 followers in a period of time that’s less than three months.

    Growing your Instagram following takes time and consistent effort, but you can employ several effective strategies to attract more followers organically. The key is to post engaging, high-quality content regularly and optimize various aspects of your profile and account.
    Some essential tactics include customizing your bio with relevant keywords and links to drive traffic to your website or online store. You’ll also want to use hashtags strategically on your posts to reach new audiences. Hashtag research tools can help you find the most popular hashtags in your niche.
    Consistent posting, whether 1-2 times per day or a few times per week, will keep your profile at the top of the mind for existing followers and help draw in new ones over time.
    Engaging with others on Instagram is also essential. Leave comments likes, and share other relevant posts to network within your industry or topic. Running occasional contests with prizes is another way to boost follower count. Tracking basic analytics can provide insight into the most popular types of posts and content.

    I think you also need to be aware it can take ages and you might not even grow at all. Growth and engagement is by far the lowest I think it’s been for many people just now.

    I started posting in 2016 and still only up to 4.2k (and it’s actually dropped by about 50 over the last few months). Probably half of that was from shout outs from major accounts/people. But it’s basically not moved for about 3 years now no matter what I do.

    I post a I’ve average photos but not bothered with reels (which is probably why).

    If you are a hard worker, then you can grow your Instagram easily, but it will take some time (months). I am not trying to demotivate you, but Instagram is a struggle for a lot of people, which is why you have to be consistent, and active by posting daily reels for an organic growth, unless you can afford paid ads, they are the easiest way to increase your reach and get high engagement and also followers, or maybe a growth agency that will help you grow in a short time.

    You’ll find a lot of people offering their growth services, but some only that can get you real and active followers such as ascandviral. A good content is also important, no matter how hard it is to grow, if your content is great and has new ideas, then you’ll attract followers easily, because people are always looking for something new, a repetitive content won’t do a thing for you.

    These has helped a lot:

    * Consistency: Post regularly.
    * Engage: Interact with relevant accounts.
    * Hashtags: Use them.
    * Quality Content: Make it look good.
    * Stories and Reels: Use them.
    * Influencers: Collaborate if you can.
    * Analytics: Keep an eye on them.

    Here for advice. Officially hit rock bottom as someone who likes photography. I cannot grow my account less than 10 accounts like my work.

    Really sucks what Instagram has become 🙁
