I’ve been considering social media marketing for my business, but I’m not sure if it’s really worth the effort.

Can it actually help my business grow?

Yes, but nobody is going to be able to give useful advice without a ton more context.

Absolutely, social media marketing can be a game-changer for your business if done correctly.

To succeed, focus on creating content that is both relevant and engaging for your target audience. Avoid using social media solely for self-promotion; instead, share valuable content that your audience genuinely wants to see.

Consistency is key; aim to post multiple times a day to maintain a strong presence on the platform. Make sure you understand your audience well so that you can create content tailored to their interests.

Timing matters, too. Observe when your audience is most active on your chosen platform and schedule your posts accordingly. If you find it challenging to attract the right audience, consider hiring a marketing agency like ascend viral. They specialize in providing targeted audiences based on your niche, helping you reach the right people more efficiently.

    Short answer: Yes.

But if you just try to throw out some random social posts without putting in the time, you won’t see any positive impact on your business growth. The following is from a 2023 Hubspot Social Media Trend Report:

    >In 2023, marketers are prioritizing growing their social media communities over other strategies. Nine in ten social media marketers say that online community building is absolutely essential to success in 2023. Consumer data aligns with this brand trend;
one in five social media users joined or participated in an online community in the last three months.

But if you try to throw out some random social posts without real effort, you won’t see any positive impact on your business growth. Despite the tumultuous landscape of social media platforms right now, there is still a lot of value in making potential customers feel like a part of your community.

That is a tricky question, since it has a million dollar answer. but what I can share is this- Create an eco-system for your clients- what I mean by that is these days everyone is doing research before buying anything- so you need to be that guy providing them the information, that builds the trust and it is a saying that if a person interacts with you for 400 minutes they become your acquaintance- so try and create a system where you interact with your fans (customers) and provide them value-

Simply do your research of the social media networks that enjoys a huge number of engagements as it relates to your business niche and go promote on such networks.
But don’t just go promoting your website contents immediately for that is equal to spamming.
Establish yourself as an authority by making useful posts, responding to questions and generally just be active. And finally through all these, it will make your business grow.

I can safely assume you know the value of networking when it comes to running a business. That’s all it really is. If you find value in networking then you will find value in social media.

Start small with one platform so you can get a handle on it. If b2b choose Facebook or LinkedIn (I’d recommend Facebook first because it’s simpler.) If it’s b2c go with Instagram. These are the easiest platforms to go with as a starter. You can always expand later if you like but don’t try to do it all at once. You’ll pull your hair out.

Reels do well on Facebook 1920×1080 size and carousels do well on Instagram 1080×1080. Videos are doing better and better on Instagram as well. If you don’t know how to use Adobe software then go with canva for making these things.
Also, if you go with LinkedIn… articles do well on there. Chatgpt can help you to write articles if needed

Are you asking if marketing is good for your business? Lol
    Yes, it will be good.

Now you have to ask if it is worth your time to figure it out yourself. Or do you want to hire someone who can do it from day one.

Depends on the type of business you own, the social media channels you have been working on, and the end goals you want to achieve.

Focus on quality content. Don’t associate the idea of “boost” with boosted posts.

Ok, who is your audience, and what type of products? The answer is: it depends.
