I have my own online business. My Instagram is popping and showing the growth I worked so hard the last four years. My facebook is growing but not to my liking. I'm considering adding YouTube because it feels it's time for the addition and maybe tiktok depending on how things go. What should I do to get my Facebook page to grow faster? How should I encourage more interaction with my current followers? Should I make a group for my business? I can't decide if I should hold off on YouTube and TikTok and work on growing my Facebook page. My Instagram is my star right now and I want a bigger presence on Facebook.

Note: my online business is a knit shop where I sell hand knitted items

Just do short form videos, think of creative ideas to implement in your videos and try recording the sound in ASMR style (if it’s satisfying).

Instead of starting with YouTube, try focusing your energy and time on short form videos, it’s the easiest way to go viral.

Plus, you can share the same videos on Facebook, Insta and TikTok.

I had huge success with short videos on Facebook, I guess the competition is just lower than on Insta and TT

But don’t make your videos boring, think of something new: for example POV knitting videos with a great view in front of you, or try to knitt a famous person or a trending meme and in the first few seconds show a headline like “can you guess the person” or smth like that

Or just research what’s currently trending in art and replicate it in a way that’s unique to you.

This is the most effective thing you can do to invest minimal time and get the biggest results. You can also find another way but it can just be less successful.

    Hope it was helpful

You can create a persona on AI and chat with them. “You are Mark, my new social media consultant. Now Mark, I’ve had success on Instagram with my knitting posts specially showing / doing x. What is best practice to transfer these post ideas for the nuances of Facebook? Brainstorm some other content ideas for me”.

For Facebook, try posting more engaging content like behind-the-scenes of your knitting process, tutorials, or customer testimonials. Encourage interaction by asking questions, running polls, or hosting giveaways. As for YouTube and TikTok, consider your capacity to create consistent, high-quality content. If you can manage it, they could be great additions to your online presence. However, if you feel stretched thin, focusing on growing your Facebook page might be a better move for now. It’s all about finding the right balance for your business! If you need help organizing your strategy, you can also try using monday.com consultant to streamline your planning.
