Hashtags for Facebook
I am learning about how to grow a user base for my photography. I read a lot on the Importance of hashtags on IG. Bu t I could not find anything about Facebook.
Are hashtags useful / important on Facebook?
Do I use the same ones as on IG or should I use different sets?
Any hints or comments?

Besthashtags.com is pretty up to date on relevant hashtags it’s very convenient you type in a word most relevant to picture and it will pull up the best associated hashtags. It also allows you to copy and paste them directly from the website

Simply, hashtags help categories your content along with similar content.
So if your photos in your case, is about cats for example – using the hashtag #cat will categories that post into the cat category.
when a user one day logs into instagram and is interested in looking up some pictures of cats, and they enter in the search term cat to search for cats, your picture appears among all the other pictures of cat pictures that will appear that have a hashtag with cat.
