I’m having some real issues with a client’s content just not ranking at all.

The content is on a sub domain, which may be factor. But I’ve never seen such continually poor results across a blog and the only common denominator is that the content is hosted on Hubspot.

    Any help would be amazing.

Sadly I don’t have any insight but I did have this exact issue with a sub domain and HubSpot. I like a lot of their CRM stuff but overall I was extremely underwhelmed by the paid marketing piece

Yes, one of my Hubspot clients was ranking poorly until I reworked a lot of the theme code to strip out the bloat that comes with drag-and-drop builders. They also had over 200 pages of poorly-written content that I deleted, merged, or completely rewrote as well, so I can’t blame it all on the theme.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with the HubSpot CMS, but some of the themes aren’t great for SEO out of the box and having a developer who’s familiar with Hubspot/HubL take a look can be helpful.

Unfortunately Hubspot won’t suggest third-party developers to you, even when we went in person to meet the account manager. They did say we could pay a few thousand dollars to talk to one of their software engineers and get their advice.
