    Hey, /r/socialmedia!

I’m a business owner who puts out a good bit of content on LinkedIn; since November of last year I’ve been seeing a steady drop in reach and engagements despite no decrease in post frequency or, I don’t think, quality.

It’s reaching the point where the kinds of posts that used to get me 1k views are now getting me 200.

Anyone else seeing something like this?

Have you considered evaluating the content types/mediums of your post? LinkedIn has updated its algorithms to favor carousel and video formats, or long-form content that keeps users in their platform. It’s a shift that could be impacting your overall visibility

Yes definitely, less engagement on there unless you spend hours a day on it. Almost all social networks are like that now it seems. They want you to spend all your time on their site or to advertise there.
