GuestMay 28, 2023 at 10:38 pmThere will always be pressure form clients for more leads. Your market/niche will have the biggest impact on how this goes, though.
A lot of what you’ll need to do is be able to understand market trends. I’m in an industry which has a 2.5-3 month cycle, so it’s fairly predictable when leads will fall out as people leave the purchase phase, and the cycle starts over again (I am in many regional markets, and this varies by market). Still, the pressure is there, and helping clients understand what is going on is essential, though sometimes nearly impossible. Being proactive and setting strategies will also go a long way to help. That said, many clients will still get upset and cancel on you after some time. That’s just a fact of life.

GuestMay 28, 2023 at 11:02 pmThen what should I do next? I want to earn more, as a content writer I don’t think so I can earn more than 7 LPA. For which profile should I switch in digital marketing only.

GuestMay 28, 2023 at 11:47 pmLet CTR and Conv rate guide you. Also, if applicable, integrate lead qualification % from CRM.
I had Leads spike in February and April but lead qualification dropped 15% – 20% those months.
I spent more money and went no where in ROI

GuestMay 29, 2023 at 12:25 amHonestly, all the time, even when they know that is a slow season they still pressure you.
But in a business position, i understand it, they are also under pressure when lead generation are going slow

GuestMay 29, 2023 at 10:19 amClients always want more. It’s their job to put pressure on you to deliver more. Their boss is probably making demands on them, and they pass them on to you. For them it’s a case of “managing their suppliers”, and they demonstrate success in that by continually squeezing better performance out of you.
It can make life quite difficult in mature accounts, where a lot of easy options for growth and scaling have already been explored. At the same time, I find often very smart people will deliberately ignore the very obvious reasons why leads might be down during a particular period in order to make PPC performance the “problem” that needs to be “fixed”.
But it’s the nature of the work, and you have to learn to have conversations around these things with your clients and manage their expectations, whilst still delivering as much value as possible and keeping them happy. It’s part of the job that goes beyond simple domain knowledge and becomes equally about inter-personal skills.
