Google shopping conversions (counting twice)
Hi,
Just running a report on last weeks stats and i think each shopping campaign sale is counting twice.
Each campaign that had a sale on a certain date ended up with two google convs., i.e. one sale (i can confirm in the back end it was only the 1 x sale) is showing as 2 conversions in google
Search campaigns don’t appear to have this issue……

Depending on how the conversion tag is set-up, someone can just refresh the thank you page and it’ll count the sale again.

Check your conversion actions. It seems like your search campaigns have a dedicated conversion assigned to them, but shopping campaigns take all conversion actions into account.
Check the actions if you have for example 1 analytics import transaction and a website transaction conversion. In that case choose one to exclude from conversions and report only on the one you chose to keep by segmenting conversion data.
