  Google Search Console verification error

  I requested my client’s website provider to add the HTML tag to the header of the website. It’s there, but I’m still getting an error. After a quick search, it looks like it’s also in the footer. Could this be what’s causing the issue?

  Sorry for the potentially dumb question…

  Could be your site’s TTL setting, or CDN being overly conservative. With some platforms (like Shopify, for example) it could take up to 24 hours to verify an HTML tag.
