Google: Put Unique Content Above The Fold
Google’s John Mueller advises site owners that a webpage should have at least some unique content in the above the fold area.
That mean’s Above the fold is playing a role to rank a content. Hold on ?? for mobile device above the fold area is very small….

What John Mueller said was that if your website has same above the fold content for all the pages, then it is advised to have atleast some unique changes on each page. Now the challenge is still that we don’t have much space on mobile devices.
Still in most cases H1 of a page is generally above the fold and it should be enough to define that this page is different than others. So it isn’t that big of an issue.

Don’t build web pages for Google first. Build them for your users first. Of course there should be unique content above the fold. Give the user what they want above the fold in a clear and concise way.
