Google Merchant Center: website has different prices based on the country (IP based) and Google sees a mismatch between the catalog and the website.

    Hi everyone,

I hope you are doing well.

So, I’m having a problem that I don’t know how to fix: I client of mine has a website where the prices change based on where the customer is.

So an item that is 80 € in Europe, is 120 $ in the U.S.

In the US catalog we have the updated prices in dollars, but Google sees a mismatch between the catalog price and the product page – they probably login from Europe and this is why they see those prices.

Any idea how to fix this?

    Thanks,

    /L

You need to add a parameter in the URL that is submitted to Google Merchant Center that forces the site to show the intended price regardless of Geo IP (override Geo IP function).
