Google Business Profile Question
So Im wondering if it’s better for me to add more service area’s on my google business profile page it self, cause i did look up some of the searches and it a lot of them are the other surroinding areas, cause i do go to those other areas as well but mosty stay in the home area. Would this lower my overall ranking.

Are you traveling service (at homes or businesses)? if so, add the maximum you are willing to travel to.
Brick and mortar: I prioritize local, then population in a 1 hour radius by car.

Service areas have zero impact on rankings. It would be better to add the content to your website.

As you mentioned that you are a service area business you can add upto 20 service areas. Doing so will only improve your ranking as your profil3 might come up in the search of those areas as well.

GBP is helpful if people are giving you reviews via GBP.
