    Google Ads not serving

Posted by WoolieWoolie on April 27, 2023 at 7:13 pm

Hi, I’ve been running Google search ads for 5 or 6 years now and generally know my way around campaign set-up etc. Obviously the campaign set-up keeps evolving and now I feel like I must have missed something. I have set up a new search campaign (on terms I’ve used before) and its just not serving any impressions at all. All of the campaign set up metrics are green and the Ad strength is showing as Excellent – any ideas? I’ve gone through all the steps again multiple times but am stumped as to what is stopping it serving – any ideas?

    TIA

Did you check the billing setup? What’s the bidding model? I’ve been having trouble with max clicks not serving on new setups.

Go to campaign settings and check if you have this checked “Customer acquisition: Optimize campaign for acquiring new customers”

    Uncheck it.

    Did you try manual CPC?

My news ones usually take a full day before impressions really start.

Same here – and been so for the last few months. Either spends too much on totally unrelated keywords, or not enough when I add the unrelated as negative keywords. I am thinking of bidding on brave, duckduckgo etc.

Yeah you’re not the only one whos experiencing that. I think google made some changes or something. Didn’t did any changes to my campaigns, was pulling 20-30 leads a week, the last month everything drastically dropped and spend raised
