Google Ads Impression Share Confusion
I have a campaign where all of my keyword bids are above the top of page bid and the daily budget is higher than the highest top of page bid. I increased the bids/budget more last month in attempts to decrease lost impression share, yet impression share lost to rank and budget increased.
The campaign rarely spends any budget (niche keywords, we’re lucky to get 10 clicks a month), so I’m not sure how we’re losing to budget when we’re not even hitting spending/hitting budget. I also took a look at the auction insights report and the number of competitors decreased MOM. In May, it’s actually showing that there were 0 competitors so I’m not sure how/why IS lost to rank would increase?
I’m at the end of my rope and want to send Google a very Karen-esque letter at this point. Anyone have any insight?
