Google Ads Editor – automated bidding (max clicks) sets the CPC, Max CPM, and Target CMP to $0.01

Why would it set default values for these fields to $0.01 when my budget is $21/daily? Should I edit them to be more if I don’t get any impressions after 12hrs or so?

$21/day is a micro budget. I’m also guess you’re in a industry with low CPC. Google’s likely trying to save you money by running the lowest CPC possible. You can raise it, but be aware you’ll likely blow your daily budget quickly even with a slight increase.

That’s the default minimum bid so yes definitely change that to a decent bid, $1 is usually good. At $0.01 you are not going to see any impression or click.

I discovered this when I was getting no impressions and this was why. Def raise it.
