    Google Ads and Botox

Posted by seohelper on October 12, 2020 at 9:37 am

If a client website contains mention of the word botox, it’ll trigger a policy violation preventing any ads from showing. Is there a way around this?

You can apply for a pharmacy license and submit that information to Google. Note, you must also apply for trademark use with the Botox manufacturer if you want to use “Botox” in your ads.

If I’m not mistaken, Botox is a brand and you can’t use it. One of my clients got the technical name “hyaluronic acid” on the landing page and everything runs fine.

I’m not in the US, but was the way I figure it out how to use it

Client needs to demonstrate medical licence. Also, use non branded name “Botulinum toxin”.
