google ad suspension
Hello everyone, I recently just got suspended on google merchant for “Misrepresentation of self or product (Untrustworthy promotions)”. I have already filed for a review but I wanted to ask you guys what you guys thought about this.
So my product is wood carving (whittling) tools, I was wondering if this would be considered as “Knives”. Google policy only mentioned about switchblades or balisongs, along those lines.

have you tried reaching out to their phone/chat support yet to ask for more information about the exact issue?

That is an interesting interpretation of blanket suspension notices, which may have some merit…
You always have to read between the lines, and apply a lot of personal experience to these nebulous suspension notifications.
The place to start is the website / content.
In general, if there are some obvious, easy, minor nuances which could be pro-actively addressed before your next approval request – That demonstrates a level of effort – Which might place you in another tier of review support.
Cite the website, and then we can have a practical conversation. 🙂
