I’ll try not to go full GaryVee style here, but you should go “eco-friendly” and recycle (or repurpose) your content as much as possible.

Yes, it is addressed to you, fellow content creators and marketers. You know that it’s hard to create brand new, quality content. Especially in the modern world, where quality and consistency are extremely important.

**What is content recycling?** It’s when you create one big piece of content (YouTube video or article, for example) and cut it down into smaller parts to distribute across other platforms and audiences.

Let’s take an article, for example. You can use it as a script for a YouTube video. Then, you can cut it down into smaller, let’s say three 10-minute videos. After that, you take 1-minute pieces for TikTok/Reels, and 30 or 15-second pieces for Instagram stories.

    The process looks like this:

**Article > Long YouTube video > 3 shorter YouTube videos > 1-minute pieces for TikTok/Reels > 30-15 seconds pieces for Stories**

And you can don’t with every single piece of content out there, recycling it and re-distributing it to other platforms.

It also works with smaller pieces of content, which can be turned into a compilation.

**Why would you do it?** Well, it saves you a lot of time and resources; especially because it can be easily outsourced to someone else. It also helps you grow outside of your main social media account, discovering other opportunities.

*Additionally, you can then use recycled pieces of content for your marketing purposes.*

**Don’t leave quality content on the table.** Reuse it as much as possible, but don’t end up posting the same thing for months.

**Pro-tip:** Remember that one post of yours that blew up 3-6 months ago? Go and *repost, recycle, and re-distribute it*. You already have a new audience that didn’t see that post.
