    GDPR / Callrail Tracking

This is for plumbing, electrical and service type lead gen campaigns:

I'm at a loss with this issue – GDPR means that we need consent for the Callrail cookie, so many reject, as do we all when we get offered the cookie banner on a website.

This means that a campaign relying on automated bidding via callrail call conversions is in a tricky spot, as our conversion data is rarely accurate – a campaign might get 10 conversions a day, at £3.00 avg click

Many of our users decline the cookie, so our conversion data is not exactly going to be that helpful in terms of tracking conversions for the algorithm.

These are relatively low budget campaigns of £50-£150 daily, is manual bids really that bad of an option and get rid of Callrail altogether?

How effective really is the maximise conversions when it comes to service/reactive businesses?

Our CPC is pretty consistent – and i understand the value of automated bidding and it's worked really well so far, but i'm worried our cookie banner is skewing the conversion data causing us to lose out on potential leads.
