  FaceBooks Ads – Account Restrictions for Political or Social Issues

  Hello,

  Does anyone have any experience with running political ads out of paid Facebook? I was recently running a paid campaign for a local ballot issue. We checked all of the required boxes for running ads for social issues – confirmed ID, set up disclaimer, declared the category. The ads ran for about three weeks and then I went to set up a new campaign for October and the ad account was suddenly disabled. The business manager shows ad account restricted due to “unacceptable business practices”. Facebook support was not very helpful. Has anyone else dealt with this and were you able to get your account re-enabled? If so how did you get FB to allow you to get the account back up and running?
