Are Facebook groups still relevant? Does it make sense to create a group now?

Could very well be, as not having your content available on a specific platform could annihilate your audience. It depends on what you plan to use the Facebook group for, but from what I know it is important to use as many platforms you can before deciding to not continue using a platform because your target audience is primarily on another platform.

Yeah, you can create a group if you plan to build and educate people, but engagement and reach have decreased significantly. There was a time when groups were places where people interacted, but now what you see is only promotions of weight loss, making money, and all kinds of ads.
If you want to create, make a group that is free of promotion and keeps the guidelines strict. If you do this, I think many people will join.
