Facebook Content Monetization: In-Stream Ads Earnings
Hello. My Facebook page has recently been monetized and I can now place In-Stream Ads on my videos. I’m getting a lot of views on my videos but FB isn’t serving enough Ads to my viewers.
I’m getting thousands of views daily, and out of that I’m only getting about 30 monetized views per day. I’m placing my Ads at the 1 minute mark and from my stats I can see that hundreads of viewers are watching more than 1 minute, but FB is barely serving any Ads to my viewers…
My audience is based on the US and CA mainly. Is there any reason in particular why this is happening? Is this because my page has only been monetized for a few days? My Monetizable View RPM is only $0.10, it’s really bad.
I’ve read that a lot of companies are starting to boycott FB this month due to protests, is this why I’m getting such a low RPM? Has any of you noticed a decrease in earnings from FB this month?
