Existing generic domain, better new domain – which to market?
Hi Everyone, I’ve been trying to find the answer to this but I’m not having much luck.
So we have a site that’s on a generic domain, let’s say toys.co.uk. The site has been online for around 5 years and we do ok from it but the domain is generic. We now have a new domain, say 24hourtoys.co.uk which redirects to toys.co.uk
Should we keep this and continue to focus on SEO for toys.co.uk or should we change our efforts and work on 24hourtoys.co.uk. Our thinking is that toys.co.uk has built up some credibility but as mentioned, it is fairly generic. Any wisdom and insight would be much appreciated.
