Hello! I just did an audit using Semrush, and it reports that I have ’76 issues with duplicate title tags’. It’s showing all of my pages with and without ‘www’. My site doesn’t have the www dot prefix in the url, and I didn’t create any pages with it. I’m sure this is something simple, but I can’t find any info explaining why this is happening or how to get rid of the www pages. Can someone clarify this for me? Thanks.

First, check whether your site returns a 200 HTTP response when you are using www. (probably it does). Afterwards use 301 redirections from the www subdomain to the non-www version, and/or set the proper canonical tags.

    Hi there!
There are two options that we would recommend: the first would be to check that you are using the rel=canonical tag for the version of your site you want to be recognized as the preferred domain URL. The second would be to redirect all traffic from the www version to their preferred “website.com” address.

However, it’d be much easier to work on a particular case with more details, so can you please reach out to us via [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) with the website’s address and the email address used to log in? Our Customer Support will check the settings and help you out!
