Does Instagram have a customer service line?
I’m trying to get in touch with them regarding a username issue. I have tried the only number I could find and I get nothing.

No they don’t.
If you’re trying to claim an inactive username, you better have a trademark for it otherwise you’re SOL.

Not unless you spend a couple hundred thousand in advertising with them each month and have a rep.

IG is run by bots. There are no live humans unless you exceed a certain advertisement threshold. Your best bet is to contact Facebook (who owns Instagram) if you have previously advertised with Facebook.

Be more specific please. You are not protecting any idea noone ever thought of. Don’t mention the username itself, but you could probably tell u if this is for a company, personal brand, if that username is taken and you own it, etc
