I just uploaded a new post on my WordPress, and I have had problems when I am searching for my post on google after the exact title.

When I use site: and the URL on google, it appears indexed and everything looks normal.

I can’t post a link for the image, but instead, after using the exact title name on google, I can find my post but as a title on google, it appears on my home page, not the blog post.

The blog post name is ” How To Complete Waves On Canyon Trials – Westland Survival” if you want to try it out.

Do you have any solution to that? I am doing something wrong?

For the millionth time site: search != indexed. It doesn’t matter if you see your URLs with a site: search – just means Google knows of the URL.

The only way to know for sure is either in the Pages report, or using the Inspection feature (either natively in GSC, or the API).

If you just published your post, that doesn’t mean Google is going to index it straight away. You need to give it some time, especially if you have a new site/blog. Google needs to trust you first.

It takes a few days before they place it after indexing. Also you should know for games people commonly google name first then question.

Just keep a eye on GSC and remember seo takes time. Keep producing content!
