I like taking random photos. I’m not really sure what kind of audience I’m looking for. However I know that I’m not comfortable showing my face. I post scenic photos, and sometimes of food. I had stopped using Instagram totally until some time ago. And now I don’t get much likes on whatever I post. I see other people with thousands of followers making money like crazy and I also want to tap into that market. However I’m just confused what niche I should follow and since I don’t want to show my face, will that even be possible?

There are many niches that don’t require to show your face: street photography, fashion photography, artistic photography, astro photography, landscape photography, etc. The secret is to not be random, use the right tags, stick to one niche and make quality posts. People follow a street photographer because they want to see street photography not photos of their lunch. The only people who get away posting random stuff are models and hot girls, but that would require to show your face.

    Yes it’s absolutely possible.
If you want to be seen as an influencer, then you need to show your face. But if you just upload pictures of scenery and food then there’s no requirement to show your face.
There are thousands of accounts which are pages, where the users just upload photographs.
Users follow things they like, so if your images are visually appealing and aesthetic then you have a huge potential to grow.

But for really making money out of it you’ll have to put in a lot of effort first. Atleast a few months till your account has a good number of followers

Then you can monetise your account for sure
