Do backlink aaps work?
I’ve seen there are a number of apps and websites which say they will create backlinks for articles or youtube videos
When i opened a website where one such app created a backlink, i found there were some categories lusted out in a list with grey background, and when you click on one such cateogory your reach a different website
I wanted to know that are there kinds of backlinks harmful or spammy?
Or do they work and increase traffic?? -

This is a tiered backlink. It goes through a couple of different sites until the final link is pointed to your website. These are normally done on web 2.0’s and are very good for SEO.
If there is no final link pointed to your website, then this is not a backlink. It’s just a mention of your websites name or Alt text referring to your website that has no relevancy.

You can start by using the toolbar extension for Chrome by Moz. It’s free and shows the domain authority of the website your visiting (higher the better) and it’s spam score (lower the better).
