  • Delete or Disov Web 2.0 Links

    Posted by seohelper on August 22, 2021 at 4:31 am

    One of my clients has generated web 2.0 links during his first few months (Around 20 – 30). They dint help with SEO and I suggested getting rid of it. What should I do now?

    * Just delete the links from the article or
    * Delete all the articles
    * Disov them in GSC

    Web 2.0 give us quality backlinks if you are using genuine content, its nothing looks spam so as per my experience no need to delete anything…

    Why not just ignore it altogether and focus on building great backlinks and work on the website? Google does not penalize you. They just devalue the links.

    Are there warnings or manual actions notifications in GSC? If not, don’t do anything.

    I agree with what most people say.

    Just focus on building better backlinks and it will go from there.

    If, as you mention, he is nervous about the spam sore in Moz then you can delete the articles and disavow in GSC. But really just focus on outreach and get better backlinks imo.
