De-indexing a Subdomain – Best Practices
I work on **de-indexing a subdomain** that brings spam traffic.
I’ve already redirected the URLs that bring quality traffic. In terms of next steps, I’m thinking:
1. Disallow the subdomain in robots.txt
2. Add a request to ‘Temporary Removals’ in GSCAm I missing something?

What did you do to everything else? Funnel to an error page or redirect to the start page of the new/other site? Not sure what’s better, I think redirecting to the new site could be kind of risky.
