Client wants to target 3 different counties with $50/day budget

Posted by seohelper on April 8, 2021 at 7:21 pm

I think the budget would be fine for all those areas since there’s not much volume for the keywords (it’s a local service thing) but he wants me to specifically add the locations for the keywords, like “(the service) miami, broward, palm beach” etc.

As it is, I just made 1 ad group and put the keywords without any location because kw planner actually showed less volume if you add the location for the kw for some reason.

I suppose I would have to make 3 ad groups, 1 for each location and just duplicate the keywords and replace etc.

But I would end up with more than 30 keywords instead of the original ~10.

Is $50/day enough to do something like that? Wouldn’t the campaign be too bloated for that budget?

I’d make them all exact match keywords if you haven’t already.

How long is a piece of string?

$50/day for 3 counties is probably plenty for a paranormal disturbance prevention company.

$50/day for 3 counties is no where near enough for a plumbing company.

Off course the keyword planner shows less volume because fewer people search this way

We use keywords with location in campaigns, but actually to get more traffic. The basis is still broad keywords (funny enough, the ones without the location but that location targetted sometimes perform better)
