Clicks but no Conversions
Hello- I have a local Handyman business in a medium size town. I am getting clicks (not a whole lot, but enough for the size of my business) – I am getting clicks on my ads, but no conversions –
I have a pretty narrow set of key words for “Handyman service “ and my location is like a 20 mile radius – lots of negative keywords etc – so I think I have it pretty dialed in for location and type of service etc with use of keywords and negrvsie keywords
I’m getting calls for work but is something screwed up with my conversion tracking on my google ads/ website to not show any conversions?
Any advice or help is appreciated

Where do you have the conversion pixel placed?

If you are looking to do it yourself you will need access to the backend of your webite.
The simplest way is to deploy the gtag on your side and then add the specific code Google gives you onto a Thank-you Page / button.
There will be plenty of tutorials online how to do this.
However I would suggest hiring a specialised Web Development / Ad Ops team to take a look, and they should be able to create more accurate conversion points which will benefit your account in the long run.
