    Changed ad url, impressions slow. Normal?

    Wanted to test out our new website (which is on a new domain). Duplicated current ads and changed the url. Disapproved for one website per ad group.

    So then I just changed the url on the existing ads to the new website. Went under review and approved.

    That was last night while our ad schedule wasn’t running. Today the ads are running extremely slowly ie few impressions and tiny amount spent, even though it’s just url changed. (This is the first 3-4 hours of the new url)

    Is this normal and I just need to wait for it to “warm up” ?

    Data is not reported in real time, so don’t stress yourself out. There is no way to smoothly transition between websites, which means that it can take a few days for the system to evaluate the quality of your “new” ads, yes.
