Can’t add a new Facebook admin
I work for a marketing company, and one of our clients recently sold their business. The new owners want access to the Facebook page. This is our first time trying to add someone with the New Pages Experience and it’s been a lot more difficult than before.
I’ve finally gotten to the point where I have found the person, clicked the toggle that says they’ll have full access, entered my password, hit confirm…and then nothing happens. The Confirm button grays out and there are no changes. I’m not sure what to do. I already had to add the person as a friend to even be able to find them. **Do they need to “like” the page to be granted access? Does anyone have any insight?**
*(Even though I know it’s useless, I tried contacting Facebook through the “Report a Problem” form. It does the exact same thing when I go to submit so the form just doesn’t go through.)*

I tried this with a page I created. I added a dummy account. The owner of the assigned profile must confirm the assignment on their end. They will receive a notification on their personal profile about the assignment and from there they have to accept.

My business partners and I were all removed as the admins of our facebook page today. We can’t figure out why and can’t regain access! No one was hacked. And we also noticed our linked instagram posts all disappeared from the facebook page today too. Very strange. Any tips? Could it be a bot?? We’ve had this page since 2015 with no problems at all.
