Canonical Tags
I have one main page where all the traffic Needs to go and I post regularly or try to as well. I lost the 3rd spot in a touch competitive niche due to duplicate pages.
1. Going forward every alternate page or post needs to reference the main page
2. The main page needs a canonical tag to itself?​
I was forced to remove the pages off the serps for the time being so google will stop sending so much traffic to them. I will re post them later and fixed

Yes, using canonical tags can fix duplicate content issues. It’s a good approach but the pages that you had to remove were other than those duplicate pages, right? And you removed them because of so much traffic? I cannot understand what was the actual problem with them.
