Can UGC on my web app ruin SEO for high-quality blog articles on the same website?
I’m developing a skin care social media web app. People can post short tweets about a product, their skin-care routines, etc., which are not typically high quality.
I’m also going to hire a writer to start a blog. Decent-quality long-form articles on the topic of skin care. I’m hoping this could boost the SEO for my website.
However, I’m worried that all the UGC pages will ‘dilute’ the SEO effort with expensive, high-quality blog articles.
Is this true? How can I prevent this while also benefiting from the UGC?
