A slightly weird one – can I make an FB Business page and have it completely hidden from friends?

I only want one to be able to use Facebook/IG Ads but I need it kept private as it’s to be used for me advertising my business in a location I’m moving to in 6 months – and I can’t have bosses etc know about the move yet. So, obviously, I don’t want it popping up in their notifications suggesting they like the page or anything like that.

    Sorry if thats confusing.

    Thank you x

Just don’t talk about it or link to it from your profile.

Make a dummy account and set all your privacy preferences to not allow people to find you in searches etc, then use that account to setup the page.

Yes. Be default you will post as your page. You would have to actively choose your personal profile from a drop down option to post or comment as yourself.

Unless you manually choose to add yourself as a “team member” then any page you manage is completely invisible.

Your profile does not say what pages you own, or admin. And the page doesn’t show who runs it.

No one will see any of that unless you go out of your way to show them.

I don’t believe there is an option to make a page private, and Facebook will sometimes automatically recommend your pages to your Network.

Just make sure the branding/data on the page has nothing to do with you so they can’t guess that the page suggestion has anything to do with you.
