  • Can Google crawl through interstitial pop-ups?

    Hi y’all,

I recently created a website that heavily relies on interstitial pop-ups.

I noticed that the pages that are linked through the pop-ups aren’t being indexed.

I was wondering if Google can’t crawl through these interstitials, what options do I have to work around this? Would creating a site map be a good option?

You could force it , guessing adding them to sitemap or other links to the pages would help ?

Submitting a site map could resolve the issue but I still feel like it depends on what the site is built on – my assumption was that site maps pull differently from differently platforms (i.e HubSpot vs WordPress). Also, it depends on whether the pop-ups are a native integration vs. a plug-in.
