Can anyone who has a kid ages 6-14 tell me what they’re watching?
I’m an adult without kids and interested in understanding what Gen Alpha, particularly those old enough to watch Tiktok and Youtube are watching? Back in the day, we’d watch Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. But what is this audience watching? Are there certain creators like Mr. Beast that capture their attention?

Mark rober, dude perfect, some specialty channels about switch gaming, Lego, Rubik’s cubes – no gen is a monolith for content. Mine also watch traditional tv including the networks you mentioned.

6 year old daughter here – she watches people make pimped out Lego sets (Ellie V Toys) on YouTube and there’s a show called Ninja Kidz on YouTube she likes. She does watch Disney stuff, and there are certain shows I watched as a kid she loves too. She’s 6 so doesn’t have her own tiktok. I’d say there’s a vast difference in what she watches to what her 12 year old cousin watches.

Veratesium so good. Bunch to other science and learning channels. Car channels are great. Emelia Hartford restores older cars. Marques Brown Lee for tech. IReal Life Lore for cool animated history. If you watch those channels, the algorithm with feed you similar great educational content.

I filter out placements on YT ads for my campaign, and from that alone, I can tell you that _someone_ is watching a metric f-ton of Minecraft, Roblox and Horror (for kids!) videos.
I’m concerned.
