  Big increase in “Crawled – currently not indexed” pages in GSC

  I noticed a huge increase in “Crawled – currently not indexed” pages in GSC recently. A significant number of the new pages are actually webp images: I.e. …images/cobalt-Q6.webp

  Should I be concerned? The images still show on my web pages, just not thrilled with the high number of non-indexed pages in GSC. Are you guys doing anything to address this on your sites?

  Also noticing pages that I thought were indexed at one point. Is Google de-indexing pages it thinks are not helpful? Thoughts on what to do there?

  I had this, after building a few links i got indexed.
  But this isn’t scary at all, what I got myself into is a new domain, started with it, and it’s all indexed but ranking 0. Like literally 0 keywords. There is not a thing that it’s ranking for… =) now thats a true dilemma
