    Best setup for clothing brand

Posted by UnitedSnow4204 on May 10, 2024 at 7:05 am

Hi guys, wanted advice on what would be the best way to setup campaign for a new clothing brand.

    Currently we have the following:
    1. Around 25 sku – 8 to 10 best sellers
    2. First party data tool – we can create and export first party audiences from this
    3. 300+ conversions from previous pmax campaigns run
    4. No gtin
    5. We have creative assets (per product wise as well as collection wise) but I have heard feed only pmax performing better so want to try them.

    We have tested the following:
    1. 1 pmax, 1 ad group with all skus (feed and asset). Performed good in the beginning 20 days but slowed down later on. All conversions came from shopping feed. Final url was best sellers page.
    2. 1 pmax, diff ad groups for diff categories. Did not perform well. Final url was specific collection pages
    3. Retargeting pmax only to website visitors. Equal bids. Doing good and currently running
    4. Shopping campaign all products – not great results initially.
    5. Search campaign: no results. Might be due to the fact that our brand is new and not very known

I want to be able to leverage our first party data and as far as I have read, create one pmax for best sellers – feed only and one catch all shopping campaign with low bids.

Would be really grateful to get any advice from you guys here! Thanks in advance 🙂

Search: I would make this brand only. Let PMAX search be your ACQ. This will be the cheapest, easiest and most affordable piece of the campaign to set up. Don’t spend high CPC on this in PMAX.

PMAX will always skew to RET.

Shopping should should be top performers from PMAX, then turn them off in PMAX so it can find the next batch of sku’s that perform well. Use the learnings from the campaign, this is why its sluggish…..you are not prioritizing the winners there.’

I have some other tips in my video here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nifv2KnRC4w&t=205s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nifv2KnRC4w&t=205s)
