  • Best platform to gain growth?

Posted by LongjumpingSinger904 on June 2, 2023 at 10:32 pm

I have a Instagram with a little over 25 thousand followers. But the account had been stagnant and just won’t grow. What other platforms are best to grow with? Anyone suggest making a new instagram account?

All help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Tik tok is the way now fire organic growth and discovery. It’s going to run into issues soon now that they’re monetizing in more ways but Instagram is dead for all intents and purposes outside of local businesses that use it for promotions (and tell their customers that).

Tiktok. Tiktok has downright dominated the internet, and with the right marketing and consistency it is almost impossible not to gain a following. The sheer amount of people and the amount of time individuals spend on this application is insane. You could also link your instagram account to your tiktok account, so if anyone were to go to your profile they could choose to look at your instagram one as well. This could allow you to reach more people quickwe. I would definitely recommend considering Tiktok as an addition to your instagram account!

Tiktok for sure. It became popular thanks to the pandemic, and its extensive user base makes it a powerful platform for marketing, allowing businesses to reach a vast audience and increase brand visibility. Also, the algorithm is highly effective in delivering personalized content to users, ensuring that marketing campaigns are targeted to the right audience, resulting in higher engagement and conversion rates. More importantly, TikTok’s emphasis on user-generated content and the ability for content to go viral quickly provide businesses with the potential for exponential growth, as successful campaigns can generate significant organic reach and create a buzz around their brand.

I totally get how frustrating it is when your growth seems to hit a plateau. In the online community I’m part of, we had a member who faced a similar situation. Before moving to another platform, have you considered reassessing your content and engagement strategy? Sometimes, it’s about reconnecting with your audience’s preferences and tweaking your approach. Also, using a growth service like ascend viral could be helpful. It helped a local business owner I know with their hashtag strategy, resulting in a noticeable boost in growth. Have you explored such options for your Instagram strategy?

Sometimes the issue isn’t the platform but the tools and strategies we’re using. I was stuck for a while, too, until I found a tool that offered unique reels, stories, and AI writing tools.

I would look at decentralized alternatives like Solcial, where you can get unique features from the platform and also get rid of the restrictions and risk of account blocking, as is often the case with web2 social media.

I’m really convinced that it’s not the platform and not the insidious Instagram algorithms (as well as the entire Meta). The fact is that social networks, in principle, have changed a lot over the past few years: firstly, the number of users and creators is constantly growing, which affects the operation of the platform as a whole, as well as the chance that your content will be seen at all. Secondly, the patterns of information consumption have also become very peculiar, and the algorithms only adapt to the behavior of users. So do not think that Instagram intentionally does not want to promote your profile.

I would still try to revive your current profile, since reaching an audience of 25k followers in a new profile will not be so easy. However, here the question arises as to how active this audience is, whether its interests have changed during the time the account has been stagnant. It is possible that the followers that you once gained are currently inactive or simply no longer fall under the definition of your target audience. Therefore, I would try to analyze their activity, collect insights about their behavior, and only then draw conclusions. You can try using the Snoopreport online activity tracker. With it, you can add any users with a public profile for tracking and receive weekly reports on what hashtags and publications they like, their thematic interests, as well as new followings and unfollowings. In this way, you can collect information about both your current followers and the followers of your competitors and draw conclusions about how you should transform your content strategy. Niche hashtags will allow you to increase your reach and get organic views, plus there won’t be as much competition and fake reach that will mess up your stats. And information about new followings and unfollowings will allow you to consider influencers for potential collaborations.

So do not despair and try to collect as much useful data as possible that will allow you to rationally decide whether to create a new account or promote an old one. Good luck!
