Best last click networks besides google and fb?

Posted by seohelper on May 6, 2021 at 6:11 pm

Been trying to find more last click platforms. We’ve tried Outbrain (terrible results) and then we tried Pinterest (even worse results). Anyone have any suggestions?

Our team uses taboola instead of outbrain, they are kinda the same though.

Another good option is Yahoo Gemini, but it really depends of your demographics.

For a younger demographic try TikTok and Snapchat ads.

For an older demographic use any native ad platform.

Outbrain is doing really well for us. It’s a complete mind shift from fb & google though, can’t expect to migrate the same campaigns and get the same results.

    Taboola his great too.

    Tik too as well.

TikTok crushes it, loads of inventory, highly engaged audience.

Pinterest has always done well for my teams.

Pretty sure Taboola is being sued right now, never found success with them anyhow.

AdRoll and Criteo for remarketing and prospecting have fantastic returns.

    For last click?

    Very little. Maybe affiliates.

Most platforms don’t attribute well on clicks beyond search.

On social on a fraction of traffic converts on clicks.

On anything display, video, native, TV, audio, etc. you won’t be able to properly value campaigns based on last click.

You’ll have to rely on platform solutions for view through, post view conversions, time to convert, first impression, etc.

Trying to utilize last click, Google analytics and other click based platforms as your source of truth will box you out of impression based platforms.

Native, while still heavily click based, will still be relied upon for impression based prospecting and Paid/Organic Search as well as Direct will absorb most of the attribution.

Why are you so focused on last click as your source of truth? Google paid and organic search are really the only platforms where the conversion is weighted significantly towards clicks. Everything else is heavily impression based.

Google provides a lot of value but consider that GA is free and advantages the product they sell for hundreds of billions per year. Web platforms and CRM are also click based but mostly by virtue of being unable to see impression level traffic.

I’m confused. Why do you care about last click attribution so much? What makes you categorize facebook and google as last click networks?

Look into Voluum. It’s a DSP Native platform that plugs into Taboola, Outbrain, Revcontent, etc. I’ve had abysmal results on Taboola & Outbrain, but decent results on Voluum. Their reps were super helpful in providing whitelist placements too.
