    If you’re going to publish to YouTube they have educational resources. YouTube.com/creators is a great place to start.

    From there, you can find content about growing on all of the platforms by the using YouTube search box.

    There’s so many options out there and I doubt anyone is going around trying them all to compare unfortunately. It also depends on the type of content you plan to create, because the type of content will determine the best platforms for promoting your content on.

    If you know the type of content you plan to promote, you can figure out who your target audience is and the niches it falls into. With that information, try to also find people creating similar content and ask for their advice. Some of the content creator classes out there are put together by people who have different goals and intentions, so what works for them might not work as well for you. There are also a lot of free resources available thankfully. Many social media platforms offer guides/videos on how to use their platform and tools so you get the most out of them.     I’ve managed YouTubers and influencers for the last 15 years, some of the bigger ones back in the day, mostly brands now. But every single one of them started the same way: they just started creating content and learning on the fly what people liked. Everyone has a different fan base that likes different things, you need to do what you love and find your audience as you go.
