Beginner question about SEO & revenue
Hi everyone,
I have (what I feel is) a rookie question, but I don’t know where else to ask it.
I started a blog in a pretty competitive niche in November of 2020. I was approved for google adsense in late january and in march I made my first $0.36. On that day in March, I only had 4 page views, 1 impression and 1 click.
Since then, my page views have been steadily increasing but my clicks and impressions have remained zero.
My question is twofold:
1). How is it possible that my impressions are zero if I have clicks?
2). How to start making revenue- or when can I start expecting revenue

Sounds like your ads are incorrectly set up. If you’re getting page views but not impressions that means people are viewing your pages, but not seeing your ads. Typically your impressions will be 3 or more times higher than your page views because you’ll have 3 or more ads on each page. Each ad that is shown counts as a different impression.
When you view the site do you see ads?

How did you make 36c off 4 page views? Something does sound a little off with the way your ads are working at the moment. Check your theme and make sure it all fits properly.
