  Been seeing a lot of links sent to our business FB messenger. My paranoia wonders if this is a back link hack?

  For context we have a couple of FB pages that we use to promote real estate listings. Lately it seems we’re getting a lot of people sending us links to various promotional affiliate sites.

  So are they really just blasting everyone via messenger in hopes that they get a purchase or are is there some sneaky SEO benefit that comes from this?

  Just spam, possibly with a dash of malware.
