Back in the day, a FB group for incoming freshmen at colleges was one of the best ways to meet people before starting the year (to find housing, or roommates, or post your textbooks for sale, etc). What is today’s equivalent?
Just as the title asks. I’m newly in charge of student services at a trade school and I’m trying to find a way to connect incoming students (from all over the world) to each other before they come here and start classes. Any ideas?

We are using a private Instagram as a group for admitted students and it works great. We actively request photos and short write-ups and share those as posts along with other stuff
