Avoid Instagram Phishing Attempts
I seen some people get “security emails” from [email protected]. Just to let you know, that email is illegitimate. I never clicked on one of these links, but I know some people have and tried “changing their password” through them. If you see one of these emails, immediately mark as spam or delete. Stay safe peeps!
Update: Sometimes that email is used by Instagram for security updates, but if the email header is unverified or doesn’t have a SSL, it is likely spoofing that email address. Also, a general rule of thumb is to never login through login or reset password links on emails and not to click them. Instead, visit the site manually to avoid risk.
