  • At what point is it to late to switch content niche?

I currently have a successful TikTok (320k followers) and YouTube channel (20.7k subs) where I mostly make informative videos about paranormal subjects like conspiracies, aliens, legends and mysteries. Lately I’ve been wanting to switch my content towards “paranormal travel” – where I talk about travel destinations that have mysteries and paranormal phenomena associated with them. I want to do this because I want to travel to these places some day and make documentaries about them. Any tips? Should I make a new channel or just do a complete switch?

That sounds like the same niche – paranormal activity

If that’s all you’re going to post you may lose some, but I feel like it’s still the same niche just a different smaller facet of it, you should be good

Make it a content category of your channels. You can mix it with the other ones or change your editorial line. But it sounds like the people that are interested in the other paranormal subjects would also like the paranormal travel thing.

Sounds like before you are sharing the info and now you are starting to take experience the thing in reality, it’s like going more deeper into it. So just continue with your account! Keep it going

It sounds like a good way to diversify your content. You should start posting those videos along with your usual stuff just to see how they do. And if it goes well, do more and vice versa. To me it sounds like you’re staying in the same niche so I wouldn’t worry too much about your current audience, if anything they’ll probably enjoy the new content
