I’m currently being paid $120 a month from one client for just posting (sometimes writing), and $60 by another client for just writing. So, it’s $180. I want to earn more money but I’m thinking of how should I pitch myself?
I’m from India and sorry for the long post. I’m very confused and frustrated.
The client who was paying me $120 dollars is a content creator & she has her clothing brand. She works with professionals in rotation. She hasn’t replaced only me because I’m efficient and she told me that she’s tired of hire & fire process. She used to pay me $180 but then decided to cut it to $60 because her industry isn’t doing good and I said I’m quitting. Then she said $120 dollars because she wants me to continue. I agreed.
This is what I do for her
    – Schedule her posts
    – Help her with Instagram reel concepts and scripts, whenever need be
    – Find keywords and tags, coming up with engaging titles
    – Coordinate with the video editor and graphic designer to ensure final product is good (more details mentioned below)
    – For her clothing brand, influencer outreach
    – Maintaining campaign record for the clothing brand
    – Speak to few brands on her behalf
    – Schedule zoom meetings
    – Order products online for her ( I know, so extra????)
So anyway, these are my observations working with remote teams..
    – Most video editors are illiterate. They don’t read brand briefs properly, I have to read and make them understand. There are times when they ask me to share elements. Isn’t it their job? Why should I share options? They’re supposed to be the expert at editing.
They just merge it all together. That’s all.
    It’s like spoonfeeding them.
    – I have to give the elements to the graphic designers and they just arrange it. Similar to my case of working with video editors..

So, how do I pitch doing all this for individuals or businesses ? I can do all this without them needing to hire XYZ people. I’m not able to live my life with $180 dollars only. I’m in a lot of debt.

I would pay someone at least $1000/month for the amount and variety of work that you list above. How many hours would you say you work for her per week?
